Hi, I just purchased an Acer laptop

Model: Acer nitro 5 "AN515-57-57G2"

The laptop currently have 8gb ram and 512gb ssd. I'm willing to upgrade it to 16gb ram by adding a additional 8gb ram, can someone confirm, I'm buying the right ram with 3200mhz speed

The Nitro AN515-57 laptop can have a max total of 64GB ram (see specs below), your oem Acer 1x 8GB DDR4=3200MHz CL22 ram is running in single channel which is not the best for Win-11 to function properly, as Dual Channel (2x 8GB DDR4-3200Mhz or 2x 16, 2x 32 as shown in the chart below) which is the quickest that Win-11 can utilize for operation and gaming.
