AN515-54-54W2 Keyboard lights up, power button works, but absolutely no other keys work.

You can not enter the bios because the F2 key does not work, as far as I can tell, NO keys work other than the power button. This is before you get into Windows so it is not a driver or Windows issue. Keys to change keyboard backlight or screen brightness, do not work. Nothing. Normally I would think to just replace the keyboard, but what are the odds that the ONE key on the keyboard that works is the power key? It works reliably, no issues there.

Is there some key combination to disable the keyboard? A switch somewhere I am not seeing?

I have opened the unit and checked the cable, it looks fine. I disconnected it, cleaned the end with an eraser, put it back, same thing.

An external keyboard will work once you let it boot to Windows, but for some reason, you can not use an external keyboard to press F2 to get into the bios. I tried two different known-good USB keyboards several times each, can not get into the bios (I was thinking maybe there was something in the bios that disables the on-board keyboard).

Supposedly the unit was just sitting on the desk, keyboard worked fine one day, didn't work the next.

Any help is appreciated.
