Hello everyone. Today I received my Nitro 5 Notebook. After i turned it on for the first time i installed some Windows Updates. After a couple of minutes the Notebook restarted with the Acer Logo and it said "System Update". A couple of seconds later, the Notebook restarted again and now i have a black screen and can't do anything Can someone help?

Be patient, Windows11 update shuts down long (black screen) after a major upgrade, don't panic don't touch the Power Button, if after 1 hour still no automatic restart you may have a depleted battery.

Did you plug in the power adapter, if the orange charge LED light is on (left or right side of your laptop) unplug the power adapter, look at the back of your laptop for a small pinhole (with the battery icon) and insert a pin till you feel a click, keep the pin down for 1 minute and wait. Plug in the power adapter and try to boot.

If you don't see a charge LED when the power adapter is plugged in, the adapter malfunctions, check the power cable, wall socket plug and wiggle the plug when inserted in the DC port to see if the LED light responds. If no results either send the laptop back to the shop or get a new adapter for $40.

My Model doesn't have a pinhole. Yes, the Battery LED is orange when the power adapter is plugged in. The Laptop turns on, the fan starts and then stops, the keyboard light is working normally but i only get a black screen. It doesn't show the Acer Logo, nothing. I don't know what to do. Maybe i can get a replacement from my Retailer. I mean i received the Laptop today. I don't know what can cause the Black Screen problem

I suggest you bring/send your laptop back to the retailer, you could disconnect the battery and do a Power Drain but that may void the Acer warranty, better not do that.

That's the best solution. I talked to my retailer and i will send it back to them and will receive a new one
