Extra hard drive on SP313-51n just added an Inland SSD 1TB M.2 NVMe drive as a second drive.

I have a Spin SP313-51n and just added an Inland SSD 1TB M.2 NVMe drive as a second drive. However, it doesn't seem to be recognised by either Windose 10 or LinuxMint. Is there something I need to do in order for it to be recognised?
