Open Control Panel. Search 'restore point'. Click 'create a restore point' in left pane. If System Protection is turned on in the box that pops up, click System Restore button. Click next Do you see an automatic restore point with a date stamp near late March?

»>yes it was working until near the end of late march»»date stamp was at the end of april and it's still giving me the same error

Sorry, end of April won't help. You need the late March restore point It has either been deleted or hidden if there is a box to checkmark that's labelled "show more restore points'. Check the restore point again to see if the 'show more restore points' box is visible.

Then about the only way is to try a factory Windows reset disconnected from the internet so that any errant updates causing the issue can't be re-installed on top of the factory version. Then turn on System Recovery. Make sure NItroSense is working again. Then connect to the internet. If or when it happens again, then immediately use the System Recovery to identify the errant update and rollback to the previous state.
