Acer Nitro AN515-44 not recognizing USB devices

Sometimes when I turn on my computer, USB devices (I've tried every USB port) are not recognized by the computer even though they are receiving power. Performing a hard reset by holding down the power button and then turning the computer back on fixes the problem. When this issue occurs and I try to perform a proper Restart or Shutdown, the system just hangs on a black screen and never actually restarts or shuts down. I've been unable to determine any pattern or figure out what causes this; it seems to just happen randomly. Any ideas?

Try to do a Hard Reset of your AN515-44 laptop, take the back cover off, take the main battery out, disconnect the bios battery and take the ram out, leave the laptop disconnected for 30min and reconnect all batteries but if you have 2x ram modules only reconnect 1x ram module and reboot laptop, if this symptom still persists then take the ram module out and boot the laptop with the other ram module and see if it fixes this problem, as what hard rest does is rests the super IO sometimes freezes or gets corrupted and need resetting.

If all the above doesn’t work then its either the IO USB board that is damaged and causing your USBs not to work or it’s a USB power issue that an experienced technician needs to diagnose the mobo and pin point where the USB problems are, as a user like you cant fix these issues with any settings other than what I’ve described above.
