Is there a page to guide a newbie round the community site. I'm completely lost.

I asked a question the day I joined but now can't find any trace of it. I've been patiently waiting but heard nothing. Don't know how these communities work never been on one before.

Talk about confusing. Can't find any help. the site looks like a bomb's been dropped and there's schrapnel everywhere.

SORRY Guys, but just my impression and meant as genuine feedback, not wishing to insult or offend.

I'll give you an idea what I mean about confusion. At the bottom of this panel is a green button <ASK QUESTION> Is this the button to send my question to the community or to ask a question. I know this is a little lame but what I am trying to demonstrate is that without instruction it's difficult to know what the programmer had in mind and I often get stuck with this kind of stuff. Maybe my dyslexia gets in the way I don't know.

There is all that in your profile (account options) click on the little gear or on your sceen name/picture.

To have your question marked as Solved click on "Answer" (Only Thread Starters have that option). Old (solved) post will be deleted after some time.

To Like any post click on like😀

To reply to a poster in person click on "Quote" and type your reply or type @Puraw (that's me) at the beginning of your reply.

If you want to reply in general to reach all readers don't use Quote or @Puraw

It's not that complicated, pretty much like any other forum, much better than the Intel and Dell forums, here you get almost immediately a response. Some of the top 5 responders have full access to Acer technical docs/manuals (not me).

Don't advertise, don't spam and be friendly we are all doing our best to help. URLS are sometimes blocked by the moderators (spam filters).

Like for any forum don't post in each other's thread as we don't reply to those questions. Start you own thread.

    Hi,

Yes, click "Ask Question" at the top right of the page and type your question.

Yes I've fathomed that bit brummyfan2 (thanks), which is how I got to ask my question.

But where do I find my previous questions?

It's that long ago I can't remember what I asked.

Is there a way to set notifications so I know when some one answers?
