Hello all,

I am deeply in need of some help as I am having some problems lately with me Acer Aspire 7 and don't know what is the cause. Firstly, It shows way to often the blue screen problem, maybe 2x a day. Other then that it also shows way to often horizontal lines as in the photos below. When it happens I normally press for a couple of seconds the Shut down button so it shuts down. After that if I try to restart it, the display remains black but the keyboard restarts( the lights are on). I have to leave it for a longer period shutted down and then I can restarted it again.

The lines appear just by themselves. It doesn't matter what I am doing( working, watching Netflix….) they just appear and sometimes is also loud and I can't use the laptop at that time. Every ideas and suggestions is appreciated 🙏🏽

Thanks in advance.

Here 2 photos of the problem:

I am assuming you have Windows11 22H2 version? Any 3rd party AV apps running? Windows Defender is the best AV no need for any additional AV programs.

There was a fix mid-2022, Windows11 22H2 update, for lines on screens, are you fully up-to-date?

The BSOD issue indicates (GPU) driver issues, try to uninstall your display driver(s) and reboot, Windows will reinstall the latest ones.

Forcing a system shutdown with the Power Button (keeping the key depressed) while apps are still open/running is not good for Sysmain and may have corrupted some files. Have you refreshed your latest system image and files yet:

Go online (Internet) and type this in the Command Prompt (opened as administrator)

    Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

When successfully completed run System File checker: SFC /scannow

This may give some errors that are repaired or not, run again if that happens.
