I have a 3 and a half year old Acer Nitro 7 AN715-51-73AX and the screen keeps going black. Initially this started only occuring when adjusting the screen hinge, but it has progressed to the point where it can randomly go off when sat on a desk untouched. If I close the lid or use the function key to put the laptop to sleep and then resume, the screen comes back on. Sometimes it can be hours between it doing this, other times I can barely keep it on. When it gets that bad I have figured out that if I remove and replace the screen connector cable and wiggle it about a bit it stops it from happening for a while, but it always comes back. This has been going on for a couple of months. I am assuming that I need a replacement cable - I would like to know where I can get the correct one from and if there are any guides on how to replace this. Please see below the cable I believe is affected

Yes, it sounds like the LCD cable has intermittent conductor breaks in the hinge area from wear and tear of opening/closing the lid too much Google search part no. 50.Q55N2.005 for vendors who ship to your location. Should be widely available and cost about $25usd since it also fits other laptop models.
