    Hi,

Could you please post the full model name of the laptop, like A3xx-xx, in the meantime, try the solutions one by one in this video:

    Try windows + x

    go to device manager

go to the last option usb

    expand it

Remove all the entries below usb

Restart the computer. It should work fine

Sometimes a simple system restore will fix the issue..

    Try windows x
click on power shell admin or command prompt admin
    type rstrui
chose an earlier date on which your computer was working fine
    click on next, finish, yes
It will restore your computer to an earlier date
if you get an message - system restore not completed - click on close
It will show you all the icons..
Try and check whether it is working now ..

What kind of PC do you have? A Dell? An HP? An Asus? Even an Acer? Is it a laptop? Or a desktop? Or an All-in-One? Or a tablet? A model number might be helpful.

Could be a hardware issue (broken USB port), find out if the device you are plugging in is USB 3.01 or 2.0 Some newer (larger) USB flash drives/external drives are only USB 3.01 compatible (blue tip inside) and your port may be USB 2.0. If you are using Windows, uninstalling all Universal Serial Bus drivers in Device Manager and then reboot may fix the problem.
