I added a HDD to my AN515-58, but the behavior of the computer is extremely strange.
The disk speed is comparable to that of USB2.0, and the computer at times just freezes, and the only solution is a reboot.
Tested with 2 different hard drives and 2 different HHD UPGRADE KIT

Obviously there is a SATA/BIOS/Upgrade kit cable conflict with your new internal HDD (detected as an external HDD), are you sure you are buying internal HDDs, formatted and intialized (GPT) fully compatible with your Windows version? What is the SATA mode setting in Bios? I would have left this HDD upgrade to Acer Services to do. Also why did you not consider installing a 2.5" SATA SSD like the Samsung 850 EVO V-NAND? The SATA SSD is much faster than a mechanical (spinner) HDD and for 1TB almost the same price.
