Nitro BIOS Password Can anyone point me to a step by step of the procedure to reset the CMOS?

I set a BIOS password when unlocking the 10th gen CPU on my Nitro 2020 when I wanted to play around with undervolting to help with temps but I’ve since lost this password - stupid me!!

Can anyone point me to a step by step of the procedure to reset the CMOS? I tried unplugging the small watch battery for 5 minutes - didn’t work. I tried unplugging the small watch battery and main battery for 30 minutes - didn’t work. What am I missing to reset the CMOS successfully does anyone know?

Alternatively I’ve considered using bios-pw.org but read mixed things that it doesn’t always work. Does Acer offer a service where I'll pay a fee and they'll give me a code to enter?

At the moment I can enter bios, get the password prompt, hold the power key to turn the laptop off and then switch back on and use the laptop as normal.

If I enter the password wrong 3 times, get the 8 or 10 digit unlock and bios-pw.org doesn’t work, can I turn the laptop off and use it as normal still?

Hi @RobTWC I don't know how to solve it, in any case Acer does not allow dealing with issues of this type for security reasons, what is recommended in these cases is to go to an official Acer service.
