i started having an issue with the computer being way slower than normal and it froze up so i did a hard reset and it then gave me a blue screen of death message and of course having bought it off ebay i hjad no real knowledge of the system and no factory restore disks so after several days of youtube videos i thought well im a smart guy i can fix it and somehow i believe i deleted the bios system or something and during my teardown of the system to figure it out the screen quit working so the computer will power on and everything lights up and runs but no screen. i tried plugging into the hdmi on the tv and it doesnt recognize it so then i took it to a repair facility that told me i needed a new motherboard and that i should probably scrap it and buy something else but i have a weird attachment to it so i bought the motherboard and she installed it and to our suprise we still had no screen so now i have this very expensive computer thjat i cant wotk and a new alienware so anybody have any thoughs as too what i can do to fix it

    Try pressing FN+F6 to turn the screen on.

    Hello!!

    @badboyoh32

    You could try a battery reset, disconnect from mains, press Power button for 9 Secs, release the button and leave the laptop to rest for 10 Mins, press Power button to start normally and see whether it fixes the problem.

    you have to shutdown the laptop and AC adaptor disconnected during the reset, when you press the Power button the keyboard backlight comes on for few second and turns off, after the reset leave the laptop for a while, reconnect the AC adaptor and let it fully charge tha laptop(it won't take too long).As you have already tried the reset, you could try connecting the laptop to an external display(TV or a monitor) if possible and see whether you can view the images as normal.
