Not really following your question, you mean to say you get the BIOS sreen instead of Windows login screen? The F12 key needs to be activated in Bios first, not working by default. If your keyboard is not working at all you have to restore your system to an earlier point, type "Create a Restore Point" in Windows and select "Restore System" at the top. When replying click on Quote at the bottom or type @Puraw at the top of your reply otherwise I won't see it.

The Swift SF315-51G laptop is 6 years old and its keyboard might have some issues, with either dirt that has pilled up under the keys, with its cable that connects to the mobo or the actual keys mechanics that are faulty, hence and why you get these problems, best is to get a new keyboard and replace the old keyboard as a replacement keyboard is very cheap and less than USD $18.50.

Except the keyboard isn't sold separately from the top cover assembly. That is a lot more expensive than just a keyboard by itself… You access the BIOS using an F2 key, the boot menu by using F12. F1 or the ESC key shouldn't do either. If you are getting the boot menu without pressing any other key it is pointing to a problem with the drive, since it wasn't able to find the default boot device.
