Hello, I'm TJ Balagopal from Bangalore's HSR layout.

I encountered a problem with my Acer Predator Helios 300's display flickering.

When I contacted Acer customer service because my warranty had expired, they advised me to have it repaired by “F1 Info solution and services pvt ltd”.

On January 27th when I went there, they evaluated my laptop in front of me once more and found that the only problem was the display flickering. They promised to identify the problem and inform me of it.

But the next when I received a call from them, they informed me that the motherboard and a few other parts needed to be repaired would cost a total of ₹141323 rupees. As soon as I saw the bill, I went right there to find out what the issue was that would cost so much to fix. When I checked my laptop, it wouldn't switch on. They gave me some explanations and advised me to either take it to someone they recommended for repair or to do it myself. I refused to take my laptop with me and stated I wanted it as it had been provided to them.

Clearly F1 info solution engineer tried to cover up the situation by telling me to go to a third party vendor who was the engineers friend and could solve my problem by using cheap parts. The engineer acknowledges that he erred while diagnosis of the laptop, where my motherboard was compromised and he told me that this was rare happening. Why should I have to pay for new parts because of an engineer's error?. And before giving it to service centre I was using my laptop with an external monitor without any problem.

The next day amount was lowered to ₹35235 with service charge and they said to me "Now the machine is in the same condition."

I spoke with Acer Support about this whole situation. Acer costomer care people told me wait for a reply from acer team. I am quite scared and anxious because I need my laptop for work.

After numerous calls, letters, and a final warning letter, the only action taken by acer was to join a conference with the organisation and simply look into the issue; but it has been a very long time since this was stated. I was promised a call again, but that didn't occur.

I've been an Acer fanboy for years, and it's been a long time dream of mine to get a laptop for gaming and designing. I still don't have my laptop after two months of waiting, and I need compensation because this was clearly the fault of the engineer, even after explaining to a member of Acer's executive team yet no action is taken from their side.

I want laptop to be replaced or error parts replaced by acer.

This is totally unfair by acer team. I insist on acer taking action against the organisation, such errors shouldn’t occur in the future to anyone.

WHAT ACTION SHOULD I TAKE FROM MY SIDE?

yet my laptop isn't with me and acer team is still telling me to wait.

    Help me, I myself a designer who lost a job because of this. I have to call acer or mail them every single time and I am not satisfied with their respo
