I'm wondering what type of motherboard I have form-wise and if I can easily install it into a new case. I'm new to pc building, but when looking at new PC cases, I noticed that some cases do not support certain MOBO types. I'll provide my MOBO photo for reference.

Also, for anyone who has also relocated this particular Acer MOBO to a new case, what are the drawbacks or stuff I should worry about? There isn't much info on the actual MOBO itself online, unfortunately.

Kind regards.

It is DTX form factor. There are guite a few threads about case swaps. FYI, P03-620 has similar and case. So, it can be done, but can be pain in the derrier.

Why do you want to do this? If the reasonis high CPU temps and fan noise, those can be easily remedied by swapping the cooler to one mande by Noctua or a another manufacturer. There are many posts about cooler swaps on this forum as well.

yes, get a tower cooler and add an exhaust fan up top, looks like you can add one, doing that will help more than you can imagine, we have all done one or both lol, and remove things not being used and in the way, i took out the HDD caddy and GPU bracket, now i have greater air flow and dropped my temps 5-10C !!@!!

@GotBanned I bought an RX 6800 and a new PSU which will both never fit this case lol. I'm also planning on getting better CPU cooling later on, but I just need to know what case to get to fit this type of mobo in

If you already bought a new PSU, be aware that it's going to take a bunch of hacking to get it to work. Your system uses an ATX12VO power supply, so it has comepletely different connectors than an old school ATX supply…
