when i charge my laptop to 100% and remove the charger the battery level turns into 98% quickly it has only been 2 months since i have bought the laptop. The battery report looks normal

Your Full Charge Capacity shows greater than the Design Capacity, that happens sometimes with new batteries. Let the battery drain to 10% (set your low battery level shutdown in Power Plan Advanced to 10%) unplug your power adapter and use your laptop till it goes into hibernation. then Power up (power button) and let it charge to 100%. Create a Battery Report and see if the fully charged capacity is now lower than the designed capacity, if still higher repeat draining the battery now to 7% (I don't recommend <5% as that is the threshold and may cause damage to the battery). Once you get a full charge reading slightly lower than this (fictive) Designed Capacity you are in business, use that Full Charge Capacity as the Initial (new) Capacity, all later Full Charged Capacity readings should be divided by this Initial Full Charged Capacity to determine the actual Wear Level of the battery. The first 3-4 months should be steady then you may see a drop of 1%/month maximum depending how you treat the battery (and the quality). To stretch the lifespan of a LIB the industry recommends a charge between 80-40%, personally I think that a bit too critical and use 100-20% charging; my batteries last 5+ years unless a cell dies then I will replace one earlier. Remember the Designed Capacity is not a measured value, just an inflated number quoted by a manufacturer for that type battery.

Your battery is OK. This number is not hardcoded, it's estimate percent of charge. My battery drops from 100% to 98% within few minutes. But i have another problem, my battery discharges by itself. Can you check if your laptop discharge battery when it is powered off?

It is normal for lithium batteries to discharge over time. But 1-5% is a lot compared to usual. If the battery is not charged for a long period of time, it tends to lose its ability to retain a charge, even when you don't use it. If you aren't going to use your laptop for a week or so, I would recommend charging it to 50-60% when you turn it off. That will make the battery discharge only a small amount of current than if it is fully charged.

Your new battery needs to be "trained", please do what I recommend and drain your battery to 10% and let it fully charge. You will get correct readings in your battery report (Full charge cannot be more than the Designed Charge, this is not "normal") and your battery meter will display correct charge % and time left.
