TYPE C PORT ON CB242Y bmiprux Monitor How do I get it to work for those other intended purposes?

I have recently purchased one CB242Y bmiprux Monitor from amazon.in [March2023]. It has one type-c port. The product description says it can be used for

• charging a device,
• Connecting a display; or
• transferring data.

now, I tried multiple permutations with type-c cable, apple type c cable, type c pendrive etc

However, apart from power delivery, I could not get it to work for any other purpose.

Any help in this regard is very appreciated. How do I get it to work for those other intended purposes?
