Acer XZ321QU panel issues Any suggestions, or is it just a damaged panel?

Hi all, my Acer XZ321QU is having issues where the panel has to heat up before it can use anything above 60hz, and even on colder days does it take a few minutes to run 60hz without scanlines.

When trying to run 144hz without heating it up(takes about 3 hours running it on 60hz for it to acceptably run 144hz) there are constant scanlines running across it, flickering where some colours lay.

Regardless how long it has been on for, what resolution, or refresh rate, there are faint lines running horizontally across the panel, being more prominent in the corners. They're noticeable but not obnoxious.

Any suggestions, or is it just a damaged panel? It was given to me by the previous owner for free because of these issues, and I don't need 144hz.

So I presume your friend gave you this monitor because its out of the Acer 12 months warranty, if so, take your XZ321QU monitor to an experienced local tech that specializes in monitors and get a quote for the repairs of this monitor first and see if its worth repairing?

There are parts available to repair this monitor like for example its motherboard Main Logic Board Acer part #: 55.TA8M2.001 costs on eBay USD $175.98 and your tech could also get a replacement LED screen also, just remember that this Acer XZ321QU monitor is still selling for around USD $285.00-$400.00, so consider that before spending any money on this monitors repairs.

It really isn't a big enough deal for me to spend money on it, I only use it for reading novels, some light gaming(nothing competitive), and AUTOCAD, so 60hz for me is fine. Only took it as it was higher res and larger than my, now second, monitor
