Good Day! Just wanna ask if anyone here knows how to fix this thing. It's slightly open.

    What is your laptops model number, as that cover has clips that secure it into the top cover, if those clips are broken at that end, then you either use hot glue or get a new cover which is specific to your laptop.

    I have the same problem with my hinge, also on the left side (Aspire5 a515-54G), the long plastic hinge bar/cover separated from the metal lid. I generously super glued it back to the metal lid placing a wedge between the lid and the bar for drying (waited 12 hours).

    But I no longer close the lid only when traveling carefully move the lid met my thumbs and index fingers at the base of the screen to avoid stress on the lid. Doing this for over 6 months now, no issues, will buy a new laptop next year.
