Acer Physical Damage when sending in for a repair Does this mean it won't be repaired

Hey,

Was just wondering what acer means by ‘physical damage’ when sending in for a repair. Does this mean that if it has a scratch it won't be repaired or if it has a giant implant they won't repair it. I know lots of company's are picky but was just asking.

    Hi @George9092

This is not the Official Acer Support site but an Acer community forum for Acer computer users.

You need to contact Acer Support

It can also depend on the type of damage in relation to the issue at hand. A charging issue with a broken power port is unlikely to be repaired under warranty… A scratched cover with a dead SSD is likely to have the SSD replaced under warranty, because the scratch couldn't easily be associated with the failure.
