Does Task Manager performance tab show CPU virtualization is disabled? Unfortunately there is no direct way enabling virtualization if it is diabled other than using an eeprom programmer as discussed in this link. However one Acer user at this link reported that Acer technical support claimed that installation of an mSATA SSD card would reveal the BIOS advanced tab and virtualization options. But another user claimed it didn't work but not sure if the Ctrl+S was done to reveal any hidden tabs.

I have virtualization enabled on the processor, the problem is how to enable the selected item, i.e. VMX, the processor specification states that it is supported for i5-7200U and is disabled in acer aspire f5-573G, how to turn it on at all, does f5-573G and its bios support VMX intel

»>VT-x »> is disabled / not supported »>is disabled in acer aspire f5-573G,»»

If Windows Task Manager shows that virutualization is enabled, then VT-x is actually enabled by default, not disabled.

then why is the VMX/VT-x option greyed out in HWiNFO that it is not supported or is it not related to System Guard Secure Launch and SMM protection
can you turn it on at all??

While neither Task Manager nor HWInfo are perfect, I tend to trust Task Manager more.

I will ask about System Guard Secure Launch and SMM protection if aspire f5-573G supports them, it's about firmware protection

They should work by following these instructions. However, most consumer home versions of Windows don't include the control panel group policy editor (gpedit.msc) needed to enable them. So you'd have to use work arounds as suggested in this link.
