Hello everyone! Got some issues on my Extensa EX215-53G-55HE laptop. Laptop is off. Battery fully loaded( as windows icon says). But battery indicator continues to blink with yellow light. Is it saying about troubles?

What i did:

1.Restarted laptop and shooted off via windows-shooting off menu

2. Disabled power and disconnected power supply

Btw laptop works fine

    Hi @PalVal

Create a Battery Report in Windows by typing/pasting the following command in the Command Prompt opened as administrator:

    powercfg /batteryreport /output %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\battery_report.html

Click on the file “battery_report.html” on your desktop and check the last Fully Charged Capacity and how that compares with the Designed Capacity for your battery. If that looks OK I would uninstall the ACPI battery driver, reboot and let Windows install a new driver.

You have a bettery reset pinhole on the bottom of your laptop. Shut the laptop off and disconnect everything, including the charger. Use a SIM tool or a bent paperclip to press and hold the reset for 15 seconds. Release the reset and wait for 15 minutes or so, then plug only the power back in. Wait for the battery indication to show blue, then turn it on and see if the issue is fixed.
