“No Bootable Device” message comes up when I turn on my Acer Spin 1 (SP111-33) model - Windows 11.

Inside BIOS (F2):

  1. No HDD showing in the BIOS
  2. Time & Date are right
  3. Only UEFI, NO Legacy option
  4. “Boot priority order” has no list of items to choose from.

I also tried to Reset with “Alt+F10 keys” but nothing happens – same message “No Bootable Device”.

Please help me, much appreciate it.

( See Pictures of my BIOS ):

    Hi @sunnyuc

Reset your Firmware (BIOS) and try to boot again.

Looks like your SSD is not detected, if you have tried all the suggestions on this forum (see “No bootable device”) I would take out the SSD mount it in an external SSD USB case or connect it to a SSD USB cable and plug that in a USB port of another Windows PC to see if you can access the drive with Disk Manager/File Explorer. If you cannot access the SSD, get a new SSD (same model) and download the ISO for Windows10, etc. to install with a USB flash drive (or ask Acer Services to do that for you). There are many posts on this forum that describe how to download and install Windows10.

Although this is an older laptop I would still bring it to Acer Service for repairs, ask Acer to replace the SSD (if bad) and to install OEM Windows10 and Acer drivers (service fee $25+ SSD costs).

I tried to Reset Firmware (BIOS) and boot again - but nothing happened.

How do I take out the “SSD and mount it in an external SSD USB case or connect it to a SSD USB cable” ? - I opened the laptop case and don't see where the SSD or SSD mount is. (I have NO clue how to do this - I am NOT tech-savvy.)

Thank you for your help :)

    Hi @sunnyuc

No problem, when you reply to a post use the green "Quote button on the left bottom of the post or type @Puraw at the top otherwise we won't see your reply😉

I just learned that your model does not have a removable SATA HDD but comes with a 64GB eMMC drive (or 500GB for C8ZH model) soldered on the MOBO (not upgradable). Best to bring/send your laptop to Acer Service and have them check it for you, if it concerns BIOS, driver or OS there will be small service charge only ($25), I have attached a YouTube video of your model.
