Is my GPU using all 16 lanes, or only 8?

GPU-Z reports my RTX 3080 using 1.1 lanes until I run the render test when it shows 8 lanes of PCIe 4.0 being used, but 16 lane capable?

Is there another program I should try, or settings/Bios to use to get it to use all 16 lanes?

Appreciate any help or suggestions folks

You can't change or increase the PCIe lanes, as it depends on what you are using your gpu for, the PCIe bus purely facilitates communication between the devices on the same bus, increasing PCIe lanes simply increases the amount of bandwidth available for the device to communicate with the rest of the system and its done automatically. Your laptop is performing normally, leave it alone as the RTXC3080 gpu is a great gpu that will work as needed for the software that you are using. Don't try to fix something that aint broke.
