Laptop thinks plugged in mouse is not plugged in

Member Posts: 2 New User

Hi

So I have encountered a strange error with my laptop, when using my razer deathadder chroma gaming mouse (only when using this mouse).

What happens is that when I plug in the mouse in the USB outlet, windows gives the sound of UNPLUGGING the mouse, and when I extract it windows gives the sound of PLUGGING IN the mouse. It's a laptop mind fck… The mouse works fine with other laptop!

Also if I have my extra keyboard plugged in (and it works fine), and I plug in my mouse then both the mouse and keyboard acts as if they are unplugged.

Just re-installed the laptop but seeing the same thing. Any ideas what I can do? Don't want to buy a new mouse since it works fine with other laptops.

Its the Razer Deathadder Chroma gaming mouse, its probably not PnP compatible with the laptop as its got the fancy - 5 Independently programmable Hyperesponse buttons that could be the issue and you need to go to the Razer Synapse 3 download page and install that software or ask Razor Support what could be the problem, as I've never heard such a problem with a corded mouse/keyboard as it should just pug in and work, I've plugged into my Nitro AN515-56 my Corsair K70 RGB keyboard with the Corsair Nightsword RGB mouse and never had any of your problems as they work 100% and exceptionally with an external monitor with gaming always.
