What temperatures are you seeing in the NitroSense application just before this happens?

Just in addition to the above, these symptoms are either high temp related, graphics driver or gpu connection to the mobo related. So check the first two and install the latest graphics driver and also repase the cpu/gpu and clean the thermal module, fans and vents from dust and slit and apply a new and high grade paste, as that can cause high temps if the oem paste has dried out and not doing its job.

The last thing is that the actual gpu chip that due to your laptop operating at long periods of time at high temps, the gpu chips many connecting pins that connect to the mobo, its solder connections get dislodged from its contacts and you need an experienced technician to refloat this chip again with a high temp 500c heat gun, which is a highly specialised job so DO NOT attempt to do this job yourself as you will damage the gpu chip.
