How many times has your Predator been sent back in it's first year?

Purchased while on sale during Sept 2022. Gave it to my son for Christmas, so he started using it late December. It started freezing early February and wouldn't boot. Sent it back, all they did was move the RAM from slots 1&2 to 3&4. That's great, but I wanted to max out RAM and use all 4 slots. Sent it back a second time and this time they replaced the MB.

Upon first boot I immediately launch Predator Sense to make sure fans are spinnig and everything else looks normal. PS is telling me Fan #2 (the back fan) is not spinning at all. However, Fan #2 is clearly spinning as its pushing air out the back of the case and the RGB colors match the other 3 fans. So I try to start a repair ticket and the site won't accept the SN/SNID I enter, even though I copy and pasted using the Acer hardware detection software.

Waiting on my THIRD RMA label as I type this. Horrible quality, and horrible repair service. Anyone else going through an ordeal like this?

my very first one got exchanged defective through bestbuy the store i bought it at and i also had a 60 day return window with a 2 year no questions asked warrenty through bestbuy, on day 56 i noticed-heard a clicking sound so i did all the research i could i opened up the side with the glass panel and couldnt tell what fan or what was clicking so i opened predator sense clicked the custom mode and started checking the fans with the sliders it ended up being the GFX 3070 fans so they sent me a new one and its been 6 months no problems at all. anything can happen it sucks but it happens to us all eventually. you had-have options to have acer and or microsoft remote into the pc and check it out i have had both do that and geeksquad to fix issues. what model did you get and where from?

Mine has never been returned or exchanged, there was a problem i called up about and they wanted me to return it, but as that was too long i just fixed it.

I purchased the PO5-640-UB12 through Best Buy also. Unfortunately I purchased the unit really early while it was on sale and my son didn't start using it until Xmas, so the 60-day exchange didnt apply. I completely understand about things happening, but I'm more concerned about the semi shady repair practices I am dealing with.

did ya by chance get the 2 year extended warranty through bestbuy like i did? i just had them remote in last nite and do a tune up its called its included with your total tech membership thats why i got that. the only other option you can do is a full factory reset that usually fixes everything. and is your local bestbuy doing the repairs? or are they sending it back to acer for you? and ide put the memory back in the slots it came in and just make sure they are seated-pushed in the whole way. keep me posted ill help as much as i can.
