So i stilll been having a problem with it getting hot after putting new thermal paste and cleaning fans. my temps will be fine for a few days but after like today i play a game for a good ammount of time, still playing with it charging (i put a fan on it too help) it stays normal never going much going above 70c i stop playing and the temp keeps saying its going up and down. sometimes it doesnt feel like it even hot though.

i check if the paste still is covering everything and like everything will be covered but a very small circle in the center dispite having spread the paste evenly as i could. i dont get why that happens.

ive been told before to replace the fan and everything attatched but its never given this issue untill i redid everything. is replacing the fans the only think i can do?

Replace the cpu/gpu fans and make sure you have the appropriate ram for the games and software that you play and use your laptop for, as you can upgrade this laptop to this 32GB max ram with a 2x 16GB DDR4-3200Mhz kit from Crucial 32GB Kit (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 SODIMM - DDR4-3200 • CL=22 • NON-ECC • SODIMM • 260-pin • 1.2V • 2Rx8/1Rx8 • PC4-25600as type ram. Do the Crucial System Scan for your laptop, as that gives you a great ram upgrade guide, as you must have low ram for the applications that you use.

Also for the Nvidia gpu install the latest game ready drivers, GeForce Experience software and use this software Nvidia ultimate game settings for the games that you play and also set the Nvidia Control Panel >Program Settings for all the games and high end software to work with the High-performance NVIDIA processor, as doing all this will make your laptop perform at its peak and the best settings for all demanding software and it will keep it cooler, also you can buy a high end laptop tablet cooler to inject more fresh air into the underneath of your laptop, which also helps to reduce temps.

My ram is pretty bad since its just 8g so im just now got into doing stuff with my computer including upgrading, though theres one problem, my computer never came with nivida gpu, i tired installing it since im suppose to have it but it says its uncompatable, i have amd radeon vega 8 and radeon rx 560x.

none of my games have had trouble running like none do its just ever since refreshing everything like thermal and cleaning fans has it just been weird with temp after playing

The AN515-43 can have a max of 32GB 2x 16GB DDR4 type ram into its 2x ram slots, you can do a Crucial System Scan of your laptop to tell you all the suitable upgrades for ram and for every budget. The best is to upgrade the ram and your boot M.2 SSD PCIe Gen.3x4 to a speedier M.2 drive like the Samsung 970 EVO Plus or the WD SN770 Black drive and also upgrade this laptop to its speediest and max ram that is the Crucial 32GB Kit (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 SODIMM at DDR4-3200 • CL=22 • NON-ECC • SODIMM • 260-pin • 1.2V • 2Rx8/1Rx8 • PC4-25600 or whatever your budget is, but make sure that you have at least 16GB at 2x 8GB or install CPUz and see the manufacturer and part number of your existing ram and buy either an additional and the same 1x*GB DDR4 module or match the oem 1x*GB DDR4 ram module so that you have 2x *GB DDR$ modules of the same specs, which will give you dual channel ram which is more efficient and works 100% better than single channel ram that you have.
