XZ342CKP KVM switch compatibility issue?

Hello,

I recently purchased this dual monitor KVM switch ( https://www.avaccess.com/products/4ksw21-dm/ ) to connect my two monitors ( https://www.acer.com/gb-en/monitors/gaming/nitro-xz2/pdp/UM.CX2EE.P05 ) and wireless keyboard and mouse to my Windows 10 desktop and MacBook Pro. However, I have been facing some issues when switching between the two computers.

When I switch from my Windows 10 desktop to my MacBook Pro, the monitors go into sleep mode and won't wake up automatically, even though both computers are configured to never go to sleep while on AC power. The only way I can get the display to show is by repeatedly wiggling the mouse or pressing the keyboard cursor keys. Sometimes it takes several minutes for the monitors to wake up, which is much longer than the 3-second wake-up time promised by the KVM switch. Additionally, the OSD does not activate when I toggle the joystick in this state, making it even more difficult to get the monitors to wake up.

The same issue occurs when I switch back from my MacBook Pro to my Windows 10 desktop. It seems like the monitors are going into sleep mode because the KVM switch is not detecting the HDMI signal. I am wondering if there is a setting on either computer that I need to change to prevent the HDMI output from turning off, even if the monitors are not detected. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
