I've seen people recommend the Noctua NH-U9S. Will the Noctua NH-L9x65 also fit? Since both support 1700 sockets. Also, i'm no sure if you can get access to the backplate. I didn't see any screws that give you access.

well, im not 100 % sure but imo i think in our acer predator desktops a tower cooler works best, pushing the hot air out the back exhaust, but that would work, looks very similar to the stock cooler and im sure it would be better than the stock cooler, i installed the Noctua NH-U12A in my PO5-640-UB11 and it kicks butt haha, i love it and i added 2 fans too the top rack as exhaust to keep the temps down and it works great, i love this pc now. and you have 2 choices remove the MB and use the brackets for the LGA 1700 that comes with the cooler or do as i have and others use the backplate acer has in there we just had to buy 4-3mx10mm screws to attach it and its no big deal really.

Both fans are the same width and depth but the NH-U9S is higher with a fan which makes no difference in fitting it into the PO3-640 spaces, so the NH-L9x65 will fit. The NH-L9x65 should screw into the oem LGA1700 4x mounting points and you don't need the back plate. This cpu cooler fits into mobos of the Intel LGA1700 included since Q4 2021, older coolers require NM-i17xx-MP83), LGA1200, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA1151, LGA1150, LGA2066, LGA2011-0, LGA2011-3 (Square ILM) & AMD AM4, AM5 (included since 2019, older coolers require NM-AM4) as its got all the adaptors.

It just got here and it does not fit. The screws needed for the 4x mounting points are too long for the cooler to fit, they get in the way on the corners. So it is either too high or too low.

well, then that means you will have to remove the MB and use all there hardware and backplate or like i had to find the right length screws to make it work for mine it was 3mx10mm some use 3mx12mm also so keep us posted and goodluck you will get it. or return it and get the tower cooler Noctua NH-U9S that we know fits and works but even then you still need the 3mx10mm screws if you dont remove the stock backplate and replace with the Noctua one supplied.
