The Nitro 5 AN515-57 laptop has an M.2 drive interface of PCIe Gen.3x4 for all its M.2 drives and the Samsung 970 EVO Plus is an excellent drive and an expensive M.2 drive for value, if you consider value for money, the newer 980 EVO is agreat compromise as the new Samsung 980 proves to be far more responsive, in regards to processing applications, even if it falls slightly behind (less than 10%) in real-world sequential read and write speed metrics, so consider that , if you want a cheaper M.2 drive.

But the Samsung 970 Plus is one of the best and fastest PCIe 3 x4 drives that you can get, that advantage of Samsung is also that they have specific and great in-house software for cloning with their Data Migration cloning software and their tuning software called Magician. I use this M.2 drive in a desktop and it has fantastic speeds but not as quick of course and like the newest PCIe 4 x4 drives that are not compatible with your laptop, so don't waste your money buying an M.2 PCIe 4 x4 as it will work but only work at PCIe 3 x4 read/write speeds.
