I received a new nitro an515-58 model computer, without Windows, I inserted an external usb with an installation on it, but it did not boot, I entered the bot to change the order that the computer will read the usb first, but it does not appear at all in the lists, and no matter what I did, the computer did not recognize the the drive, and I couldn't find it in the bios or in the boot the things I already did: 1. I entered the usb bios on enabled. 2. In Boot Priority only 1 appears in the list and it is uefi_shell, and there is no way to change the order, because it is alone in the list. 3. I tried to change the port, to change the usb, I could not add the usb to my selections, I would love to know what to do. I note again that there is no operating system on this computer at all, I try to install and it does not read the external connections

    maybe your usb is not properly configured to boot in uefi, use rufus

    enable F12 boot menu

    set a supervisor password in security tab

    set boot mode to legacy and disable secure boot

    If my answers/solutions help you, please consider hitting "Like" and "Yes".

    Regards and God speed 😉

    1. Go back to the BIOS MAIN tab to enable the F12 boot option.
    2. F10 to save settting and exist.
    3. Shut machine off. Insert bootable USB installation stick.
    4. Turn machine on and IMMEDIATELY tap F12 key to enter menu to boot from USB installation stick.

    @Rotem30046

    Try one of my older threads and see if it helps - i had installed Linux onto an external SSD and booted into it.
