Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57 with single 32gb RAM

Hello, a while ago I purchased a single 32gb ddr4 3200mt/s RAM before realising my laptop is dual slot. My nitro 5 specs are: core i9, 16gb RAM, with rtx 3060. The laptop currently has 2x8gb RAM I believe (I have not checked), but I was wondering if I could replace both with the single 32gb RAM. I have asked in nearby hardware stores and have been getting different answers such as, it is compatible but not recommended as it “may disrupt the flow," and from another hardware spot that says it'll be fine. If I were to change the RAM will it cause any crashes, disruptions, etc. when running several and intense software?

-The Ram memory does not interfere, about what you comment, a motherboard with more RAM memory, its hardware will always be more fluid in general computing, therefore lighter.

Your laptop can work with 1x 32GB of whatever speed module you’ve got, the Crucial System Scan recommends a max total for the AN515-57 of 64GB 2x 32GB DDR4-3200Mhz, but Acer recommends a max of 32GB 2x 16GB DDR4-3200Mhz CL22 type ram for your laptop.

I would buy another 32GB module and get your laptop to 64GB total ram at 2x 32GB DDR4-3200MHz CL22 type ram, I don’t know what speed your existing 32GB ram modules is but even if you put this 1x 32GB ram module into your AN515-57 laptop it will work in Single Channel ram and not Dual Channel that is at least 50% quicker and allot better for all high end software’s.
