Aspire 7720 Cam not accessible in windows 7

I just now noticed that when i'm trying to use skype or take a pic with my webcam i can't originally the pc came with vista and it had worked fine and now that i upgraded to windows 7 it's inaccessable 
i see it in my device manager and it says the drivers are up todate but unfortunately no go on being able to use it. Any suggestions?
