Does anyone know how to re-install Win 11 bluetooth driver for a Swift? Model Name: SF313-51-57EQ | Part Number: NX.H3ZAA.001.

Only Win 10 drivers are available on Aecr's web site.

  • Hi @g742 the computer is not listed by Acer as a compatible computer for Windows 11.

Have you tried installing the Windows 10 driver?

Thanks Alejandro. I tried it yet the issue remains.

  • Does the driver install or is it not possible, throwing an error?

If it gives an error, what does it say?

If the driver allows installation, does it show up in device manager?

I am not getting an error during installation yet the driver does not show in device manager.

  • Ok, I'm afraid there is no proper driver, anyway please wait for more answers that can give us more information.

At this time I do not have access to the service manual to find out who the manufacturer of the device is and check if they have updated drivers.

As soon as I have access to the manual, I'll check the manufacturer.

    g742,

have look at the bottom of the device to see if there is a sticker with the type of the installed wlan module.

Sort the list by date. Download the first file from the list. Then simply double click on the file name. Windows will install the file.

If the device doesn't show up in Device Manager then it's not a driver issue, per se. If Windows doesn't have drivers for it it will still show up with either an error code or as an unknown device. How does it display in Device Manager?

Hi, i do not have a Bluetooth entry in Device Manager. The qualcomm Atheros shows up under Network adapters.

The Bluetooth portion of the WLAN card connects to the motherboard via an internal USB port. If the data over that port is getting corrupted the system can't figure out what's there, so the Bluetooth disappears completely, except as a hidden device that's disconnected. Do you have anything shown as unknown or any problems under the USB section?

I do see an "unknown USB Device (device description request failed) under USB in device manager. Device status shows: Windows has stopped the device because it has reported problem (code 43). A request for USB device descriptor failed.

That's exactly it then. Try reinstalling the host controllers and root hubs in the USB section of Device Manager to see if that clears it up.
