Acer Predator Helios PH315-53 I Just wanna share my experience, with this brand

I am very disappointed to have purchased the Acer Predator Helios PH315-53 product.

I've been using it for almost 3 years and the worst problem is the FPS drop when playing games. normally with specifications like that, you should be able to get high fps but not on my laptop. fps drops to 16 fps. and in the end, I brought my laptop to the Acer Center and after waiting 2 weeks the laptop was returned with a new motherboard series (replaced motherboard). but 1 year later the same thing happened again. More precisely December 2022 I returned to the Acer Center for the 3rd time and the stock of spare parts ran out in my country so I ordered it first for 1 month in the country the laptop was made. but after waiting 1 month, which is February 7 2023 and just installed on my laptop, the new motherboard always restarts and can't enter the windows page. I have to wait for another 1 month this is very detrimental to my time.

What I don't understand here is why the new motherboard has problems like that many times, confirmation from the Acer Center there is a possibility that 4 new motherboards have been tried on my laptop and all of these motherboards always have problems, I mean are you as serious as Acer? 4 new and abnormal motherboards? This is very disappointing and a waste of my time. I wish acer did something that would atisfy me but is this the truth? Soon my 3-year warranty will expire in May 2023 and there will be an error like this without a rranty? I think is is driving me crazy. I hope Acer reads and takes my complaint seriously!

That is definitely not a good experience, and you should have had this problem resolved allot sooner. Unfortunately, Acer does not setup gaming laptops out of the box, as users have a big responsibility to make sure that they install and setup these gaming laptops properly,

These gaming laptops are not a laptop that you just turn on and the laptop plays any game(s) automatically without any settings. Your Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-53 with its Intel Core i7-10750H. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 gpu is a very fine gaming laptop, that is if its setup properly, as and also if you upgrade this laptop to 32GB ram with a kit of 2x DDR4-3200 • CL=22 • NON-ECC • SODIMM • 260-pin • 1.2V • 2Rx8/1Rx8 • PC4-25600 ram or even better to its max ram of 64GB at 2x 32GB of DDR4-3200 • CL=22 • NON-ECC • SODIMM • 260-pin • 1.2V • 2Rx8 • PC4-25600 and upgrade to a speedier PCIe 3 x4 M.2 drive like a WD SN750 or SN770 M.2 or the Samsung 970 Pro or Plus M.2 drive, as all this will make this laptop a fantastic top end gaming platform, these laptops need to be setup properly, and also upgraded to whatever your needs are,

I suggest that once you resolve the motherboard issue and get a working motherboard, you first update the bios and make sure that windows update is updated, then the Nvidia driver and if you play games, you install GeForce Experience for the ultimate NVidia set games settings for the RTX3060 and also you install all the Intel drivers with the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant as all this will make your laptop perform to its peak performance.

decrease the video settings to medium/high, not max or extra...

so you can also select Optimal Video settings in the game settings.

run Predatorsense and set fan to MAX and mode to PERFORMANCE/TURBO

earlier versions of Intel has many problems... much better if you sell your laptop and buy new with 12th gen or 13th gen Intel processors and NVIDIA GPU
