It will, but it may only run at 2133 as i dont belive the nitro exposes XMP, so it will run at the JEDEC speeds for the memory ( https://tech4gamers.com/corsair-vengeance-rgb-pro-review/) if you wanted the max speed you would need modules which have native 2666 / 2933 / 3200 1.2v profiles which are harder to get now for DDR4

    This is the 16GB kit that will work for your desktop, its the Crucial 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 UDIMM - DDR4-3200 • CL=22 • NON-ECC • UDIMM • 288-pin • 1.2V • 2Rx8/1Rx8/1Rx16 • PC4-25600 as a CL16 type ram does not work in your desktop. Have a look here NITRO N50-620 RAM & SSD Upgrades

What would happen if I was to buy the Corsair RGB pro ram and install it into my system. Would it boot?

No, as the Corsair ram is a CL16 type ram and an XMP type ram that is not compatible with your desktop that only works on CL22 (like below spec ram), Acer PCs are very sensitive to the wrong ram specs as they are preset in the bios and have no adjustments for memory in the bios, that is why you have to abide by the oem Acer specs for memory and the N50-620s quickest and best memory is the DDR4-3200 • CL=22 • NON-ECC • UDIMM • 288-pin • 1.2V • 2Rx8/1Rx8/1Rx16 • PC4-25600

I'm confused, 2 people are saying two different things.

I don't mind if the speeds are lower. I just wasn't to know if it would boot and function properly.

Because I don't want to use crucial ram in my custom pc when I build it.

It would most likely boot as it will run at JEDEC speed , however it's impossible to say with 100% .

The ram is really slow though at JEDEC speed , and it may be better wait and buy when needed. The cl is a good indicator as there is no JEDEC 3200 cl16 , i think the spec only went to cl22 hence the recommendation to look for that . But if you found cl16 1.2v JEDEC 3200 it would work

Another thing to keep in mind is that we are in-between gens, so ddr4 may not even be supported by your custom pc in the future!
