I have an older Acer laptop (mod#PB71305). Many of the keys are not responding without firm continuous pressure. Is there a way to remove the keys and clean underneath them? What is the best repair? Other than that, my laptop functions pretty well.

Thank you for your help and assistance!

You can use a good circuitry spray cleaner and spray underneath every key thoroughly, then allow the spray to dry or there are allot of reviews on keyboard cleaners and brushes, look here. As taking the individual keys apart especially to an old keyboard the plastic gets brittle, and you will break parts and won't be able to put them back. But imo its best to replace the keyboard with a new one as they are pretty cheap and whatever you spend on cleaning products it will be very much or 50% of what a new keyboard is worth.
