Hello,

I hope someone can help me.

I have a Acer Aspire A515-55 Model Name: A515-55-78EG and when I connect it to my monitor (Acer CB342). The imagen looks weird, like the image had been stretched.

I am using the HDMI port. I was trying to use the USB C but it is gen 1 and it does not support video output.

When I use the HDMI cable I am able to select the following resolutions:

3840x2160

2560x1440

1920x1080

But 3440x1440 its not available.

I am running Windows 11.

Someone know how can I fix it?

Thank you!

The Intel UHD Graphics G1graphics that is integrated in the Intel Core i5-1035G1 cpu in your A515-55 is experiencing a graphic bottleneck, lowering your resolution to the default 1920x1080 pixels will allow your graphic card to process more data and achieve higher frames per second and a better image. The Intel UHD Graphics G1graphics will never be as good as an NVidia RTX or an AMD Radeon RX dedicated GPU and your external resolutions will show the weakness of this CPU integrated graphics more and more, so don't expect these resolutions like 3840x2160p or 3440x1440p or 2560x1440p, as the lower the resolution the more this Intel graphics will display and work acceptably with, try the .1920x1080 pixels which is a default resolution of most laptops these days.
