N50-600-AB18 (i9400f+1050ti+12GB) - CAN I UPGRADE THE GPU TO A RTX 2060?

Hi,

I want to upgrade my GPU to a RTX2060 or 2070, I heard it was possible with the AB18 and its 500w PSU.

(I want to try VR but the 1050 Ti is too weak for it)

Also: there is 4 slots for RAM, can I upgrade the RAM too, to a 16GB DDR4 2666mhz?

and would it be easy to change the OEM PSU for a 650W Bronze PSU?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

Your 500watt PSU should be able to handle an RTX 2060, 2070 or even 3060 as long as you have the room inside. The 2060 and 2070 dimensions are both 229 mm x 113 mm x 35 mm thick, The 3060 182 mm x 130 mm x 42mm thick. So get out your ruler.

You can have up to 64GB normal DDR4 dimms with speeds 2400MHz or faster.

Thanks a lot, Jack! I will try that.

About the GPU cards, the mini/ITX could also do the trick, I think... Zotac does 2070 and 2060 in small sized format. I am not sure I can put the 3060, because of the PCI express 4 requirement for these cards.

Whatever you try, use vendors with good return merchandise authorization (RMA) policies just in case.
