Can't reset Acer Iconia B3-A30 ta wipe complete reboot but no changes occurred.

I followed instructions using the power and volume buttons and performed Wipe data/factory reset which showed Data wipe complete but upon reboot, no changes occurred. Any suggestions would be appreciated even if it involves taking it apart and performing repairs on the motherboard to reset the device before it goes to the actual Acer 'trash' bin.

There's a chance the drive has failed, which doesn't allow writes and longer, so it can't erase anything. :(

If performing a factory reset using the power and volume buttons did not work, there are a few other options you can try to reset your Acer Iconia B3-A30 tablet:

    1. Boot into recovery mode: Try booting the tablet into recovery mode and performing the factory reset from there. The steps to do this may vary depending on the specific model of your tablet, but generally involve holding down a combination of buttons (such as the power button and volume buttons) while the tablet is powered off.
    2. Use ADB (Android Debug Bridge) commands: If you have access to a computer with the ADB tool installed, you can use ADB commands to perform a factory reset on the tablet.
    3. Try flashing firmware: This is a more advanced option and requires a computer, USB cable, and knowledge of how to flash firmware. You can download the firmware from the Acer support website, and then flash it to the tablet using tools such as SP Flash Tool.
    4. If none of the above steps work, it's possible that there is a hardware issue with the tablet, such as a malfunctioning eMMC chip or other component. In this case, you may need to take the tablet apart and attempt to repair or replace the faulty component.

It's also worth noting that if you're not comfortable with these steps, it's best to take the tablet to a professional technician.

Keep in mind that if the tablet is out of warranty, repairs may be costly and it may be more cost-effective to purchase a new device.
