Hello everyone. I very recently bought this laptop and it completely crashed on me the first time I turned it on during initial setup. The only action I could take was to completely turn the computer off and back on again to get it back going. This has been happening ever since, a couple times a day at least. Another, possibly related error, when I boot up Deep Rock Galactic and load into a level, the game closes out of itself and gives the error dxgi device removed, or device hung. i've tried reinstalling my drivers and that seems to be a temporary fix for the game at least. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.

Do a hard reset, take the back cover off, disconnect the main and bios batteries and leave then disconnected for 10min, reconnect all as that should reset this laptop to brand new state and you will never have these problem again. Also make sure that you do a windows update and have all the latest Win-11 updates and Intel graphics driver (install the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant to do that) and also install the latest NVidia graphics drivers for your gpu, and alaso the NVidia GeForce Experience for gaming as that has allot of games that NVidia presets to the best and ultimate settings for these games and your gpu, as doing all this is essential for your AN515-57 to perform to its best.

Btw, I've got an AN515-56 which is virtually the same laptop and I've had the same problem straight out of the box 'and only once' but what I did straight away is I did all that I've suggested to you above and never ever had any problems, so imo you haven't setup this laptop properly and its drivers are not up to date and that is why its giving you problems, also update the bios to the last version. make sure that your laptop doesn't crash before doing a bios update as you will brick your laptop if you do. Also, if you only have 8GB ram make sure that you run Win-11 on 16GB min ram at 2x 8GB as that will make the ram run in Dual Channel which allot better for this laptop, and also upgrade to a faster M.2 PCIe 3x4 M,2 SSD like a WD SN770Black or a Samsung 970 EVO Plus type drives as they are the best.
