Predator Helios 300 low sound

How can this be fixed.

I am not even able to listen to youtube even with sound maxed unless I use headphones. Spending this kind of money on a laptop to not even be able to hear youtube or pretty much anything else EXCEPT the sound tests in windows is ridicules, I dont have issues in games sound wise, but anything I try to listen to from music to youtube is almost impossible to hear unless I stick my ear to the darn machine and yes all the options on sound are maxed out volume wise.. There are numerous posts of people having the same issue with sound and there is no fix from acer, there are numerous user stuff to try but nothing from the manufacture and all the ones I have tried do not work. I think its totally stupid to have to uninstall software that came native on the machine to be able to get basic function. There needs to be a fix from acer on this issue. This has been going on for YEARS it seems... Sorry I vented but I am very frustrated with this issue. So if anyone has any WORKING suggestion on how to fix the low volume issue please post.

Thats got nothing to do with the laptop its youtube and whatever clip that you are listening to as the video regulates the volume, as and unfortunately sound is governed by the output of these clips that are on youtube and if you "dont have issues in games sound wise" then the sound of the laptop is normal. I get the same with youtube and allot of other apps on a new Nitro 5 also, but the Windows Media Player songs and sound is normal and perfect. Also, these laptops don't have hifi speakers so don't expect anything like that from your Predator laptop, use a top quality BT headphone as the sound is really top class hifi quality if you do that, as I do that and never listen to the Nitro 5s speakers as they are poor quality.

I have another acer and i can set them side by side and play the same video and it does not have the issue my predator has and its about 40k peso cheaper then my Predator and of course it does not have the sound software installed. So i don't believe that about youtube being the issue. The issue is with the predator and by googling you can see there are numerous reports of the same thing.

What is the exact Helios 300 model number, as you can try to fix audio by going into Device Manager >Sound Video and Game controllers and refresh or reinstall all the audio driver in that section, as your laptops sound is not only configured by the Realtek driver but by other audio drivers.

Install the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant and do a scan and make sure that all Intel drivers are up to date and do the same with the Nvidia drivers but make sure that you use the DDU Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 18.0.5.9 to uninstall all the NVidia previous graphics drivers as per DDU instructions as that also has an audio driver. The combination of all this should fix the audio, also try to update the bios to the last version, as that sometimes helps, if not then you have a bad audio chip or a fauty audio in this laptop that needs fixing and to be analyzed by an experienced tech. If your laptop is under warranty don't do anything and send your laptop to Acer Tech Support.
