I have tried to boot from usb, but are not able to.

I have disabled the secure boot in bios. Saves it at reboots. Pushing F12 and i am just getting back into the bios. I cant see any usb info there

Bios is R01-A1. Does it support usb boot ?

Thanks

aside from disabling the secure boot, change the bios mode into legacy (can be seen above or below the secure boot.)

set the boot device priority to usb hard disk or the usb flash drive name (e.g. Kingston Data Traveler)

enable the F12 key in the BIOS.

    exit and save settings.

try pressing F12 or just wait for the BIOS to boot first your usb flash drive.

if booting fails, there is a problem with your usb flash drive. try the following:

    1. insert a usb flash drive to your laptop or desktop computer. (be sure to backup the contents of your usb flash drive)
    2. download rufus https://rufus.ie/en/, then run it.
    3. left click the drop down arrow next to the word "SELECT" and left click "DOWNLOAD" to download the original Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft. Watch the full tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=me-GmdIlbgc&ab_channel=PortalSeven
    4. after that, press START. wait for it to finish.
    5. restart your computer
    6. try pressing F12 or just wait for the BIOS to boot first your usb flash drive.

Yeah, don't change to Legacy, that will just screw everything up and hasn't been used since the Windows 7 days. You need to enable the F12 boot menu in the BIOS before F12 will give you any boot options. What USB image are you trying to boot from?

If the USB drive is bootable in an EFI environment, F12 should give you a menu that shows it as one of the options. I don't know why it would be giving you the BIOS screen instead... Can you post pictures form the Authentication and Boot Options menu from the BIOS?

insert your bootable usb flash drive then press continuously the F12 key until the boot selection is displayed.

else go to the bios then boot options tab, go to removable device priority, then select the usb to be booted first as the first drive/device... next, go to 1st boot device and choose removable device.... go to exit tab and choose save & exit setup to save the settings... wait for your usb flash drive to be booted.
