Is Acer Aspire 3 Support Functional - to check the status of my warranty and got a 404 error?
I am attempting to register my brand new Aspire 3. I enter teh S/N and Acer tells me that it is already registered but it is not in my "My products" list - nothing is. I attempted to contact the Acer Support chat but I get a 404 error. I attempted to check the status of my warranty and got a 404 error.
Is Acer support real? Does it work? Any suggestions?
And yes, I always have the stupidest, weirdest, most frustrating nonsense happen with my tech. It is endlessly frustrating.

Yes, it is problematic, but it eventually works, so you need to try it a few times, if it doesn't work then send in the registration papers that you were provided with by post for your laptop to your local Acer.

As for the chat, that is straight up a 404 error no matter how many times I try.
I did realize that I was on the USA version of the Acer page, so I changed to my country page. That did not change the result. The registration page still says that the S/N is already registered, but it is not in the "My Products" list.
I guess I will need to travel back down to the store where I bought it to get this resolved. What a pain.
