My Switft3 (Acer SF314-42 Series and Model no: N19C4) model too frequently restarts or hangs up.
My laptop model : Acer SF314-42 Series and Model no: N19C4. It runs on AMD RYZEN 4000 series. The laptop too frequently restarts. I have changed the advanced settings where auto restart is "Turned OFF" now. It still restarts less frequently compared to previous occasions, but now its getting hang.
This particularly happens when the laptop is idle for some time.
Any help will be appreciable.

Unplug charger. Gently insert and hold a paperclip or toothpick into battery disconnect pinhole on bottom for about 30 seconds. Then plug charger back in. Wait for battery charge LED to turn from solid orange to solid blue. Then turn machine on again and test.

- a sign of a malware infection. (run adwcleaner, then smadav, then install symantec/mcafee endpoint security)
- low on memory (disable some apps using the task manager in the startup apps)
- RAM needs to be cleaned or replaced (for cleaning, use thumb size pencil eraser or a fine steel sand paper - rub the contact points continuously until the color is clear, shiny not yellowish)
- uninstall unused and unnecessary apps using IOBit Uninstaller
- if you have a mechanical drive (HDD), always defragment it or schedule defragmentation if the computer is idle or once a month.
