My computer doesn't turn on !

Hi, I'm typing this from another PC, so please don't ask me "HOW DID YOU TYPE THIS ?!" etc.
My Acer Aspire 5740G doesn't turn on after pressing the POWER button : The Power Cord is connected and the LED on it is on, but the computer shows nothing, not even a single LED. I tried removing the battery and cord, holding POWER for 35 seconds and connecting the cord again, but the problem is still not solved, either the battery is removed or not. Can you help me, please ? Thanks, it's really URGENT...

Unfortunately, if the system is not powering on, either on battery or on AC, then it needs service.
