Can one of the guys with access to the service guide provide information regarding the pin out for the front panel connector, for a possible motherboard change in this case.

Thanks

Figured it out for anyone wondering, so the actual motherboard has the pin layout printed on it for reference, use jumper extensions to connect the case switch connector to the new motherboard, and the other option is to wait for the release of the PO7-650 and buy just the motherboard from an official reseller - with resellers already selling the PO7-640 motherboard i presume they will also have the 650s sooner or later.

Thanks for the response Jack, however i was looking for the exact number of pins for that connector, from what i remember when disassembling it, there was a connector block as opposed to individual connectors so therefore wanted to see if i could match it up with some other motherboards.

Does anyone know if the acer front panel connectors for the case would need to be modfied and cut up if a new board was to be installed? i've been searching on this and it seems like all Acer models use this same 14 pin connector for the front panel, i'm unsure whether the actual pins are arranged differently - Has anyone sucessfully changed motherboards or is it a case of a new case in order to upgrade to 13th gen and beyond?
