My Aspire A314 went to white screen and shuts itself down.

Hello,

It's been a while my laptop hadn't been used since I lost its charger. But, thankfully, I recently found it and immediately charge my laptop. When I turned it on, it works well.

But, several days later, out of nowhere, the laptop goes all white when I open Chrome, it goes that way for a while with little green glitch and it shuts itself down. Right fore that, I also experienced the same problem but this happens right after booting up. I suspect the LCD is alright. Is there any idea what's wrong?

Is the laptop changing properly?

Shutdown the laptop and unplug the charger.(Make sure all the lights on the laptop is off). Look at the back of the laptop and you can find a small pin hole.

Get a paperclip and put it inside the pin hole and press and hold it for 30 second.

I have tried your suggestions and it seems that I haven't seen the outcome.

UPDATE: My laptop can't now turn on at all when I pressed the power button, the charging light indicator doesn't even turn on when I charge the laptop.

I guess this happens since the white screen accident yesterday. The laptop went suddenly white screen when I open an app and then shuts itself down. I may assure that the LCD is fine.

Is there any more thoughts on this?

Try if you have a replacement charger to check whether it can turn on. If still it cant turn on than it could be a hardware issue and you need to contact Acer support.
